Jamie Brewerton

James is a product of Rhyl's youth system and a Wales under-18 international who had a trial at Wolves. Also played with Conwy United in the Welsh Premier and at Llandudno. Spent several seasons at Belle Vue before a switch to Bangor City in June 2008. Captained City and won three Welsh Cup medals and a Welsh Premier title with the Blues, leaving by mutual consent in December 2014 to rejoin Rhyl. Begins 2015/16 3rd on Rhyl’s all time WPL appearance makers.

Jamie initially retired from football in November 2015 and was subsequently appointed in February to the management team for the first team to assist Niall and Laurie McGuinness. For the 2016/17 season made a return to the field and made 9 starts before stepping down from the squad.  For the 17/18 Brewerton is looking to use his experience to assist Rhyl.
