Rhyl Ladies are recruiting for a new First Team Manager following the news that Tom Jamieson will now concentrate on his roles at the Club as Rhyl Ladies Chairman and Board Director of Rhyl FC re women’s and girls’ football.

Rhyl Ladies FC is currently one of Wales’ most successful clubs in the North. The team have competed for the past 3 seasons at the highest level in Welsh domestic football, the Orchard Welsh Premier Women’s League. The winners of the WPWL go on to compete in the UEFA Women’s Champion’s League.

To build upon this success we have setup a development team along with strong links with Rhyl FC Girls to create a player pathway to the first team.

The successful candidate will work as the on-pitch lead of Rhyl Ladies Fc First-Team and will be primarily responsible for carrying out the following duties:

Key Accountabilities

To build a successful winning first-team competing in the WPWL & Cup competitions.

Implementing a training program in line with Long Term Player Development pathway.

Ensuring high standards of coaching delivery across the first-team.

Formal monitoring and evaluation of player performance.

To develop a strong relationship with the Development and Girls Teams

Representing the club at relevant WPWL meetings.

Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the team continuously looking for ways to develop and improve within funds of the club.

Criteria Required

UEFA B Licence holder

Full DBS check approved

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with all club staff and Committee Members.

Experience of and enthusiasm for coaching and inspiring both young and senior players.

Proven ability to create optimum learning environments for players.

Commitment to the long-term development of the success of Rhyl FC Ladies.

Existing relationships within the Women’s game.

Willingness to work weekends /Midweek Evening training sessions.

Ability to organise travel independently.
